It may be noted that the main demand of the protesting students who have been staging a sit-in at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi for the past one month was the resignation of the Education Minister. The issue of the Education Minister\u2019s resignation had also created a deadlock at the discussion table. On Saturday morning, CJP issued a clear message to the government in strong words, stating that it would not sit for any kind of talks until Dharmendra Pradhan was removed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With the Education Minister\u2019s resignation, the government accepted the protesters\u2019 key demands. CJP founder Abhijit Deepak announced the decision from the stage at Jantar Mantar and said, \u201cOur struggle has succeeded. Everyone said that no one resigns in this government, but we made it possible.\u201d Meanwhile, as soon as the news of the Education Minister\u2019s resignation spread, thousands of students present at the protest site were overwhelmed with joy.
