Demonstrating a 23 percent increase over last year, NFR operated 674 special train trips, including 92 designated to support flood-affected areas, alongside strengthening regular services with additional coaches. Passenger infrastructure saw widespread modernization with 230 reservation locations upgraded to a graphical user interface, integrated information systems added at eight stations, 10 new lifts, and 29 locations securing &#8220;Eat Right&#8221; certifications. On the freight side, loading surged by 7 percent from April to July 2026\u2014led by massive growth in cement and dolomite\u2014supported by the commissioning of seven new cargo terminals and completed track-linking to the Jogighopa Multi-Modal Logistics Park.
