Parag’s Captaincy Gamble Backfires as Delhi Capitals Edge Out Rajasthan Royals in Thriller

Despite Jofra Archer’s brilliant spell (2/35) causing a sudden middle-order collapse that left DC sweating, a critical tactical error by RR captain Riyan Parag shifted the momentum back. With Delhi needing 35 runs off the final three overs, Parag gambled by handing the ball to part-timer Donovan Ferreira for his first over of the night. The decision backfired heavily as Ferreira bled 16 runs, extinguishing the pressure and allowing Axar Patel (34*) to effortlessly guide the Capitals across the finish line with five wickets to spare.
