Hitting six sixes in six balls is no longer a new phenomenon in cricket. But this time, English pacer Miles Davis has stunned the cricketing world by taking six wickets in six consecutive balls. He achieved this rare milestone last Saturday during a match between Penkridge Cricket Club and Pelsall Cricket Club.
The two teams faced off in the Premier Division of the South Staffordshire County League in England. Batting first, Penkridge Club scored 68 runs in 45.3 overs. In response, Pelsall’s innings ended in just 12.5 overs with only 52 runs on the board. The Pelsall batters could not withstand Davis’s devastating bowling. He took a total of seven wickets for just 16 runs. This included the incredible record of taking six wickets in six consecutive balls. With this double hat-trick, the pacer has set an unbelievable record.
