Shocking Scene In Pakistan Super League: Ball-Tampering! Ban For One Match As Punishment
Controversy and cricket often go hand in hand. Once again, the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has been hit by a ball-tampering scandal. Even though this season’s PSL is being played in stadiums without spectators due to safety protocols, the cricket remains under the spotlight. According to reports from various international news outlets, the incident occurred during a match between Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi.
During the match, Quetta Gladiators’ player Sohail Khan was seen tampering with the ball. This occurred during the 14th over of the innings. At that moment, the cameras caught the Pakistani pacer (Khan) scratching the surface of the ball with his nails to change its shape.
Following the incident, the match referee investigated the matter. It was confirmed that the ball’s condition was intentionally altered. As a result, the disciplinary committee has banned Sohail Khan for one match for his involvement in this shocking act in the Pakistan Super League.
