Assam’s Daughter Ankushita Secures Bronze Medal Asian Youth Boxing Championship
Assam’s daughter Ankushita Boro has secured a bronze medal in the Asian Youth Boxing Championship. In the championship held in Mongolia today, she competed in the quarterfinals and defeated her opponent from Kazakhstan with a score of 4-1, confirming her place in the semifinals and guaranteeing a medal for herself.
The victory, however, was not easy. Both athletes were aggressive from the very start. Although Ankushita faced some slight setbacks in the first two rounds, she faced a tough challenge in the final round. Through skillful counter-attacks, she eventually secured the victory.
