Amidst ongoing debates regarding whether Rishabh Pant is fully fit for T20 cricket, India’s highly successful wicketkeeper-batter has finally broken his silence on the matter.
In today’s IPL match, Rishabh Pant, captain of the team, played a crucial role in securing a victory against Lucknow Super Giants with a timely half-century. During the post-match press conference, when journalists questioned him about his current form, he stated that he can feel the positive results of the intense preparation he has been putting in.
Because of this, he believes his bat will provide all the necessary answers now. He mentioned that his teammates and the team management have witnessed firsthand how hard he has been working to prepare himself. He does not wish to say anything more on the subject; instead, he will let his performance (his bat) do the talking.
Notably, this marked the first win for Lucknow in the current IPL season.
