Inter Milan Clinches Domestic Double with Coppa Italia Win Over Lazio

Inter Milan’s victory march in Italian football continues. After winning the Serie A league, they have now added a second title to their season. By defeating Lazio 2-0 last night, they have secured the Italian Cup (Coppa Italia) title.
Inter took the lead in the 14th minute through an own goal by Lazio right-back Adam Marušić. In the 35th minute, Argentinian striker Lautaro Martínez doubled the lead.
This is the first time since the 2010 season that Inter Milan has seen two trophies in a single season. During that 2010 season, under the coaching of José Mourinho, Inter won the Serie A league, the Italian Cup, and the Champions League titles.
