Assam’s DSP Bardie Boro Shines Bright: Wins Double Gold in Table Tennis at All India Police Games

Bardie Boro has delivered a stellar performance at the 2nd All India Police Games. Bardie who serves as a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in the Assam Police, has brought laurels to the state by winning two gold medals in Table Tennis.
In the competition held in Lucknow, Bardie achieved a “double crown” for the third time by winning gold medals in both the Open Singles and Gazetted Officers’ Singles categories. In the Open category final, she defeated Uttar Pradesh’s Suraj ‘Raj’ Verma 3-0 in games.
On the other hand, in the Gazetted category final, Bardie defeated M. Sri Abhinav by a margin of 3-0. By winning this title, Bardie has earned the opportunity to represent India at the upcoming World Police and Fire Games to be held in Perth, Australia.
